Angela Vitzthum
Angela Vitzthum is an assistant vice president of The Creative Group, a specialized staffing service for interactive, design, marketing, advertising and public relations professionals. In this position, she oversees the downtown Chicago branch. Angela joined The Creative Group in October 2010 as an account manager and was quickly promoted to division director. She was promoted to branch manager in July 2012 and her current role in June 2014. Prior to her career in staffing, Angela spent more than six years in the creative industry as a print designer with an emphasis on marketing strategy. Angela is an instructor at the Chicago Portfolio School, where she teaches their “Mastering Your Book” class. She also is a frequent speaker on career issues in the creative industry and a member of the local chapter of the American Institute of Graphic Arts (AIGA). She holds a Bachelor of Arts in advertising from the Illinois Institute of Art.
